Green smoothies are an increasingly popular option for breakfast or lunch – that’s because they’re remarkably filling, utterly brimming with goodness and can be rustled up in next to no time! And, of course you can experiment with the super green ingredients in your green smoothie until your hearts desire, meaning that no two green smoothies need ever be the same.
Super greens are a special class of super food that are by definition low in calories and high in beneficial nutrients, such as protein, fibre, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, phytonutrients and chlorophyll.
Organic chlorella powder is made from green freshwater algae and contains a variety of valuable nutrients including chlorophyll, protein, vitamins (including vitamin A, B9, C, E and K), minerals (such as calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus and potassium), amino acids and nucleic acids. Considered one of nature’s finest super greens, organic chlorella powder is an extremely versatile superfood that’s not only ideal in all of your favourite smoothies, shakes and juices, it’s also a classic ingredient in a tempting selection of rawfood recipes including raw pesto and salad dressing.

Half a teaspoon of nutmeg
