How To Use Mulberries

Mulberries Recipe - Mulberry and Blueberry Mousse

This rich, colourful dessert is crammed with mouth-watering fruits, including blueberries and mulberries, and sweetened using exclusively natural ingredients. A yummy dairy-free mousse that’s also ideal for those following a vegetarian, vegan or rawfood diet. 

 

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup of mulberries

- 1/2 cup of blueberries

- 3 tbsp. of chia seeds

- 1/2 cup of (spring) water

- 1 tbsp. of agave nectar

- 1 tbsp. of lucuma powder

- 1 tsp. of lemon juice

Preparation

First, soak the chia seeds in water for approximately 1 hour, or until thick and creamy. Next pop all of the ingredients into your blender and process until nice and smooth. Top with leftover blueberries or mulberries and enjoy!

    One of my favourite dried fruits. Perfect for snacking; a handful with a cup of liquorice tea, mmm.. And try mixing them with apples in your crumble.

    These mulberries are just to divinely sweet and perfect for carrying around in your bag to snack on during the day .. once started it's hard to stop - yummy mixed up with muesli too. Have even dipped them in homemade choc made with the cacao powder and cacao butter .. double deelicious :-)
