Raw Chocolate Cherry Breakfast Bars Recipe
Many consider raw chocolate to be one of the most nutrient-dense foods on our planet – so what better way to start your day than with these raw chocolate breakfast bars bursting with sweet cherries and organic cacao nibs? Suitable for those following a vegetarian, vegan or rawfood diet, as well as all lovers of good food!
- 3/4 cup of spelt oats (also known as spelt flakes)
- 1/4 cup of organic almonds
- 1/4 of organic cacao nibs
- 1/4 of dried cherries
- 3/4 cup of organic dried dates
- 2 tablespoons of (spring) water
Simply put the ingredients in a blender and gently blitz everything together. If it is too dry add some water to the mix.
When everything has incorporated together, put the mix into a flat dish.
Sprinkle over some desiccated coconut and place some dried cherries over the top.
Now you are ready to go! Perfect for breakfast or as a healthy snack.
