Someone once said that: ‘when plan A fails move to plan B; eat chocolate’! We couldn’t agree more, so long as you opt for the healthier form of chocolate known as raw chocolate. That’s because, unlike most shop-bought chocolate,
This recipe uses organic cacao beans. Once peeled you can enjoy cacao beans by the handful as a wholesome superfood snack between meals, blend them into smoothies, shakes and protein drinks or use them as a delicious ingredient in a tempting range of trail mixes, raw chocolate bars and desserts.
This wonderfully rich raw chocolate cherry delight pairs the intense flavours of organic cacao beans with the sweetness of red cherries for an indulgent dessert.
- 2 cups of organic dried dates
- 1/2 of a cup of organic cacao beans
- 1/2 of a cup of cacao butter
- 1 cup of frozen cherries
- 1 tablespoon of coconut nectar (optional)
Firstly soak the dried dates for around two hours and gently melt your cacao butter
Now add all of the ingredients into your blender and process into a lovely smooth pudding, adding as much water as necessary to achieve the desired consistency.
Chill in your fridge for at least 1 hour before eating.
