Superfood ‘Snickers-Style’ Raw Chocolate Bar
If you’re a fan of the mainstream peanut chocolate bars, then you’ll love this healthy raw chocolate alternative, crammed with pure, natural superfoods.
Ingredients:
- 25 ml of organic extra virgin coconut oil
- 1.5 tablespoons of organic raw cacao powder
- Lucuma powder (add according to taste)
- A few handfuls of raw organic goji berries, raisins and pumpkin seeds
- Organic peanut butter
Preparation:
Place both the organic coconut oil and the raw cacao powder together in a bowl and mix until it becomes a lovely, smooth paste. Then, depending on how sweet you like your raw chocolate, sprinkle in some lucuma powder according to taste. Stir thoroughly and add in a few handfuls of organic goji berries and pumpkin seeds. Next spoon some of the chocolate mix into individual cake cases and add a liberal layer of organic peanut butter. Finally top with another layer of your chocolate mix and pop into the freezer. Leave for approx. 1 hour before serving.
